Tetrinet for Linux is compatible implementation of the popular Windows multiplayer Tetris game. It bundles a console (text-mode ncurses based) tetrinet client and a simple tetrinet server. Note that the client has some constraints on the console dimensions - see the README for details.
Despite its name, this program should work on other Unices as well - it was reported to run at least on OpenBSD, Solaris and FreeBSD.
Tetrinet was originally conceived by St0rmCat. (He has asked to no longer be contacted with regard to Tetrinet.) This package was written and originally maintained by Andrew Church, Petr Baudis is the current maintainer - in theory. Gerfried Fuchs does real development.
The current version is tetrinet-0.11.
